We are looking for an experienced part-time Financial Officer with a passion for sustainability to join our team in Barcelona. You will be responsible for overseeing the fluid financial management of our organization.

Your activities:
You will work with the Head of Projects and the HR Team to oversee, manage and implement finance and admin management tasks, including:
- Report monthly / quarterly REVOLVE financials with the accountant via the digital software.
- Pay all invoices due via the REVOLVE bank account and register with project code to insert in the accounting software.
- Keep track of credit card expenses and ensure diligent document keeping.
- Make purchases with the credit card for office materials and other staff needs when requested and after approval from the HR Team.
- Ensure any bank or credit card issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Understand and process payroll together with HR Team.
- Coordinate the financial side of Travel Cost Statements (TCS) for staff transport/accommodation by ensuring receipt and proof of payments from staff.
- Collaborate in our annual Finance audits.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to prepare crucial reports such as the balance sheet and income statement to ensure financial health.
Support EU Project Financial Tracking:
- Ensure proper encoding in the project overview forecasting and tracking folder once monthly staff’s timesheets recording has been approved by the Head of Projects and the HR Team.
- Coordinate project financial reporting for different projects for quality control check.
- Organize and maintain all digital financial folders for REVOLVE projects with Project Managers.

Your qualifications:
- Degree in accountancy or financial management.
- 3+ year of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Spanish accounting and payroll system.
- Diligent attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and numerical analysis.
- Efficient time management.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Experience with different EU-funded projects is a plus (Interreg, Horizon, LIFE).

What we offer?
- Entry-level Commitment: 75%, Monday-Friday 9am-3pm
- On-site presence: 2-3 days a week
